The Problem

While using the Google Antigravity model in OpenClaw (formerly Moltbot/Clawdbot), the following error suddenly occurred:

This version of Antigravity is no longer supported. Please update to receive the latest features!

The bot failed to generate a response and only returned the message above.

Upon checking the GitHub issue (#4111), I found many others experiencing the same problem.

Solution: User-Agent Patch

I resolved this by referring to workaround 댓글 in the GitHub issue.

Step 1: Locate the Problematic File

First, locate the Google Gemini CLI provider file within the pi-ai package:

# OpenClaw 설치 경로로 이동
cd /opt/homebrew/lib/node_modules/openclaw
 
# 또는 pnpm으로 설치했다면
cd node_modules/.pnpm/@mariozechner+pi-ai@*/node_modules/@mariozechner/pi-ai/dist/providers/

File location:

@mariozechner/pi-ai/dist/providers/google-gemini-cli.js

Step 2: Modify User-Agent Version

Open the file and look for the User-Agent version string:

'User-Agent': 'antigravity/1.11.5 darwin/arm64'
 
// 수정 후
'User-Agent': 'antigravity/1.15.8 darwin/arm64'

Change Point:

1.11.5 → 1.15.8 (Update to the currently supported version)

Step 3: Restart OpenClaw

# Gateway 재시작
openclaw gateway restart
 
# 또는 전체 재시작
openclaw gateway stop
openclaw gateway start

Step 4: Verification

Send a message after restarting, and it should respond normally!

Important Notes

⚠️ This is a temporary workaround!

If the package is updated via openclaw update or npm update, these modifications will be overwritten.
A formal fix must be implemented in the upstream pi-ai package.
Issues may arise again if Google strengthens version checks in the future.

Permanent Solution:

Wait for a pi-ai package update.
Or wait for an official OpenClaw update.
